 In 2000, the voice of Asia sounded from Boao. The first international conference organization in China, the permanent site for Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) was founded in Boao. The BFA consists of 26 member countries from Asian and pacific regions. It is a historical moment and eternal witness. Every spring, the heads of the states, celebrities, experts, scholars and the elites of the enterprises from Asia would get together to discuss the strategies for cooperation and co-prosperity. Along with the pace of the spring and the movement of the pulse of Asia, Boao begins its new round of development. |
 As the permanent site for BFA, Boao has been gone through several rounds of construction upsurge.  BFA Permanent Site Scenic Zone is a wholly owned subsidiary to Citic Group. It was a National Grade AAAA Scenic Zone. Establishment Conference of BFA 2001 and The First Annual Conference of BFA 2002 were held here. It provides services for the conference of BFA and Secretariat; provides high-quality service for political leaders and travelers visiting forum establishment monumental site, estuaries of three rivers and Yudai Beach; provides meeting service for the enterprises and institutions participating in the meeting of Boao Aquapolis; food and beverage service for travelers; and supporting service in property and infrastructure for the developers in Boao Aquapolis. |
